Use this tamis mesh strainer to help you achieve smooth and fine purees or sauces. This tamis is durable and will not stretch out like regular tamis. The mesh size indicates the number of openings in one inch of the screen. So a 20 mesh screen means there are 20 squares across one linear inch of screen. A larger mesh size means a finer mesh. The tamis can be used as sifter too.
