Swan Cygne Electric Ice Shaver SI-150CKI
The Swan SI-150CKI is a commercial electric block ice shaver manufactured by Ikenaga Iron Works Co., Ltd. in Osaka, Japan. Designed for professional environments such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, and concession operations, this unit produces ultra-fine shaved ice with high output and reduced operating noise.
This model is built for block ice use only and accommodates square or round ice blocks up to 7 lbs (3.1kg). The ice block must fit within the 8.5" shaving disc diameter and have a maximum height of 5.1" (130mm). The belt-driven motor system reduces vibration and operating noise compared to gear-driven models, while the large ice block holder crank ensures firm pressure during shaving for consistent texture.
The machine produces approximately 4.0–4.85 lbs (1.8–2.2 kg) of shaved ice per minute, making it suitable for high-volume service. The adjustable blade system allows operators to control shave texture from coarse to ultra-fine. A safety interlock prevents operation when the guard cover is not properly closed.

Operational Notes
- Ice must be placed flat-side up and centered on the shaving disc.
- Do not shave ice immediately after removing from freezer. Allow 15–20 minutes to temper before use.
- Unit includes motor overload protection.
- Guard cover must be closed for machine to operate.
- Replace or sharpen blade 2–3 times per season depending on usage.
