Sake ware
Saké is Japan's national alcoholic beverage made from rice, koji and water, and can be enjoyed in a variety of different vessels. The ceramic cups (guinomi or ochoko) that are typically used for consuming Saké are small because it is Japanese etiquette to keep pouring each other Saké. Saké can be enjoyed at various temperatures, and certain types are better enjoyed warm to enhance the aroma and Umami.
