Yukishino Moss White Donburi Bowl 13 fl oz / 6.26" dia
The Yukishino Series Ceramics represent the pinnacle of traditional Japanese Mino ware from Gifu Prefecture. With over 400 years of history, Mino ware is one of Japan's most celebrated pottery traditions, renowned for its diverse styles and exquisite craftsmanship.
Yukishino ceramics feature a snow-inspired design, achieved through layers of Shino glaze and random strokes of Oribe green glaze. The thick, raised white glaze adds texture and depth, enhancing the bowl’s rustic yet refined aesthetic. These unique, one-of-a-kind patterns resemble delicate snowflakes, making each piece a functional work of art.
These donburi bowls are typically used for serving Oyako-don (egg and chicken over rice) or Katsu-don (Tonkatsu over rice) but can also be used for Ochazuke (tea and furikake over rice), salads, and hearty soups. The lid can help retain the warmness of food until served to a customer.
