Yukishino Moss White Donburi Bowl 13 fl oz / 6.26" dia
The Yukishino series ceramics are a Mino-style ware from Gifu prefecture. Mino ware is one of the most famous types of Japanese pottery, with over 400 years of history. These ceramics are thick and sturdy, with a rustic design. The first layer has an Oribe green glaze (moss green), and they are then finished with multiple layers of random strokes, creating unique patterns that resemble snowflakes.
These donburi bowls are typically used for serving Oyako-don (egg and chicken over rice) or Katsu-don (Tonkatsu over rice) but can also be used for Ochazuke (tea and furikake over rice), salads, and hearty soups. The lid can help retain the warmness of food until served to a customer.
